We are looking for someone to work as a Parts Counter Person in Mississauga, ON. This individual will assist customers and technicians with looking up parts, provide quotes on price and confirm parts availability. Should have previous experience working in the parts department in the transportation industry.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet and assist customers with any inquires and answering phones.
  • Shipping, receiving, and stocking parts orders.
  • Handle all invoicing and collect payments.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management.
  • Assist service technicians to ensure they have the proper parts to complete services and ensure parts are entered on service invoices.
  • Warehouse Maintenance – perform daily and weekly maintenance tasks, including sanitizing high traffic areas and items throughout the day.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Excellent customer service skills with a customer-first attitude and the desire to deliver excellent customer service experiences.
  • Minimum of 2-year experience in customer service and/or parts counter role.
  • Proven ability in parts a counter sales environment.
  • Attention to Detail.
  • A professional and enthusiastic individual who strives to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Valid G-class driver’s license.
  • Able to consistently lift up to 50lbs

COMPENSATION:

  • $20 – $25/hr.

SHIFT:

Day Shift, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM Monday – Friday.
